About the Player
This six foot, 165 pound outfielder is the brother of Detroit Tiger star Ty Cobb. “Paul” is different in that he hits from the right side of the plate and has a calm appearance. With Lincoln in the Western League he is doing a bang-up job with a .367 average. He also likes to steal and has swiped 48 for the Railsplitters. The Washington Senators are said to be interested in signing the young man, so fans may see a brother versus brother competition before too long.
About the Series
The glory of 19th century design is revisited in this series by your friends at Helmar. We've kept the look of the early line drawings but improved them so that the players are recognizable. Yet again, all the artwork is original to Helmar and printed in stunning color. We've chosen a beautiful paper with a soft hand that tested best for the subtle color transitions. Each card is about 3' x 5'.
