About the Player
A short bio from the Helmar-R319 card back: Robust socker for the Buccaneers Brigade. He spent time in Bay City as a pitcher until a spiking moved him to the outfield. While playing in Nashville in 1923, Kiki was named the Southern Association’s most valuable player, an achievement that earned him a brand new automobile and a contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He hit .357 for the championship winning team last year. He is 27 years old and born and raised in Michigan. He is 5 feet 10 ½ inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. Kiki enjoys hunting and can do so with deadly accuracy. He can also cut a mean rug, be it the “Charleston” or a slow Waltz.
