In this series there are fifty-five player cards distributed among four Philadelphia teams. Most, of course, are found pictured with one of the two major league teams. The Phillies, who plied their craft at the Baker Bowl, have twenty-seven subjects. The Athletics of the American League have twenty-four. Two Black teams have representatives. The Philadelphia Giants have three subjects and the nineteenth century Pythians have one important card.
