An American League Boston team set consists of twenty-seven card subjects. Hall of Fame players include Harry Hooper (#362), Babe Ruth (card #48 and #409), Tris Speaker (#9 and #96) and Cy Young (cards #7 and #11). Other popular players are Duffy Lewis (#521), Carl Mays (#361), Fred Tenney (#94 and #95) and Smokey Joe Wood (#65 and #449). Tenney should be in the Hall of Fame. Bill Carrigan played in three World Series (as did Lewis) and appears on two cards, #338 and #421. Less remembered is Larry Gardner (card #402 and #426); he appeared in three Boston World Series victories but also a fourth one in 1920 with the Cleveland Indians.
