Tuesday Night Auction Ending December 6, 2022

Formed in 1905 by John Conner, owner of the Brooklyn Royal Cafe, the Brooklyn Royal Giants initially played against white semi-pro teams. They were one of the prominent independent teams prior to World War I before organized league play began. During the 1920's their fortunes waned under the leadership of Nat Strong. One Royal Giant appears in the series, Dick Lundy (card #195).
