Of the twenty-four Philadelphia Athletics in the Helmar T206 series there are eight cards that show members of the Hall of Fame. These include famous third baseman Frank Baker (#28), Chief Bender (#31 and #415), second baseman Eddie Collins (#36), Nap Lajoie (#395), the remarkable Connie Mack (#59), Eddie Plank (#47) and one player from a later era that was a favorite of Mr. Mack. This would be Al Simmons (#435). Other storied players are represented including Jack Barry (#533 and #551), Jack Coombs (#544), Amos Strunk (#513) and Stuffy McInnis (#536 and #550). Of the retired hall of fame cards the Connie Mack has brought the highest prices. However, it is not much more than the Lajoie and Baker cards.
