The huge number of Giants in this series is a testament to the strength and popularity of the early New York Giant teams. Fifty-nine cards are Giant team members, with many popular players having more than one pose. Twelve cards are devoted to Hall of Famers including two of Mathewson (#18 and #58), two of McGraw (#124 and #223). Roger Bresnahan (#99), Rube Marquard (#72), Joe McGinnity (#123) each have a single card. Coach Wilbert Robinson, also a member of the hall, shares a wonderful card with Arlie Latham (#562). Later members include George Kelly (#441) and Carl Hubbell (#432 and #437). Most of the other notable early players are present. Unusual cards include Christy Mathewson's brother, Henry (#121), Moonlight Graham (#141), Charles Victory Faust (#564) and team owner John Brush (#568). Other popular cards include Dummy Taylor (#133) and Jim Thorpe (#50). The best performing card at auction has been Christy Mathewson's card #18, followed by the Jim Thorpe card.
