There are an astounding thirty-six cards of Chicago Cubs in this series; fourteen of these are hall of famers though there are only five different players making this total. This is consistent with the spirit of the original cigarette cards where many players are the subject of multiple cards. While Mordecai Brown and Fred Lindstrom have only one card each there are four of Frank Chance; Johnny Evers has three cards dedicated to him and Joe Tinker has two. In addition there is a combination card of Tinker and Evers executing a double play (card #255). It is the most sought after Cub card by a good measure. Owner Phil Wrigley appears on card #398. Popular non-hof players include #525 Larry Cheney, who in 1912 led the NL in victories with twenty-six. Heinie Zimmerman, card #488, also brings a premium.
