There are four Baltimore subjects in the Helmar T-206 series. Only one player could be said to be pictured with a major league team: Fred Smith (#160), shown with the Federal League's Terrapins. Rube Parnham (#226) and Ben Eagan (#382) are with the Orioles of the International League. Technically a minor league franchise, the Orioles often fielded squads of big league quality. Players frequently were paid as well as their major league counterparts. The fourth Baltimore player is Burnis "Wild Bill" Wright (#453), a Negro League outfielder that some believe deserves a spot in the Hall of Fame. His career began in 1932; he had three separate stints with the Baltimore Elite Giants.
