Boston players abound in the Oasis series. Thirty-eight players appear on thirty-nine cards (Babe Ruth appears twice, once each with the Red Sox and Braves). Thirty of these players are Red Sox; the remainder being Braves. Of the Red Sox cards the Babe Ruth (#82) is the most popular and typically auctions for over $100. The Ted Williams (#156) usually sells for close to that amount. An early card in the series, that of Carl Mays (#7), averaged over $66 and was one of the most popular cards to date.
