The Homestead Grays are one of the best known and loved of all the Negro League teams and at one point or another it seems that nearly every major negro star spent at least some time with them. In this series there are five card subjects and happily, two of them are in the Hall of Fame. The team was owned by Cum Posey (#507), the first hall of famer. The second is the hard hitting outfielder Jud Wilson (card #512). Of the other three subjects the most famous, or infamous, is perhaps "Vicious" Vic Harris (card #321). The card of Ambrose Reid (#455) is also sought after.
