One cannot consider the 13 card Detroit Tiger subset without first mentioning card #7, Ty Cobb. It was done as a one-of-a-kind test and sold for the modest price of $16.51 on May 23, 2010. It was unusual in that, while it was constructed in the way that would soon become standard for Helmar, the image was printed on canvas. Other cabinets soon followed, the early formula being that the image was a pencil colored photograph or sketch of the player. There are two Ty Cobb cabinets; #26 (swinging) being slightly more popular than #51 (pink sky). Both are by far more popular than any of the other Tiger subjects. They have populations of 20 and 16, respectively. Relatively short printed is #55, Sam Crawford (population 7). That particular image was also used on the cover of the Fall, 2015 BHA magazine. The Babe Herman cabinet, #74, has a population of only 3.
